Section 10(4)(i) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Hill Stations) Building Rules, 1993

(i)Every person, who constructs a building shall cause the floor and roof to be so designed and constructed as to withstand the combined dead load, due to their own weight and other superimposed load to which such floors and roofs may be subjected to.
