(2)Where the application/plaint has been heard ex parte against the non-applicant, such non-applicant may apply to the Gram Nyayalaya, within fifteen days from the date of knowledge of the order, for an order to set-aside and if such non-applicant satisfies the Gram Nyayalaya that the notice was not duly served or that he was prevented by any sufficient cause from appearing when the application/plaint was called for hearing, the Gram Nyayalaya may make an order setting-aside the ex parte hearing against him upon such terms as it thinks fit and shall appoint a day for proceeding with the application/ plaint:Provided that after restoration of the case, the Gram Nyayalaya shall decide the case within fifteen days from the date of restoration after giving reasonable opportunity to the applicant.
