25. Meetings of the senate.
(1)The meetings of the Senate shall be held at least twice a year on the dates to be fixed by the Vice-Chancellor. One of such meetings shall be the annual meeting.(2)The report on the working of the University during the previous year, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure, the financial estimates and the last audit report, shall be presented for consideration of the Senate at the annual meeting of the Senate.(3)The Vice-Chancellor may, whenever he thinks fit or upon a requisition in writing, signed by not less than one-third members of the Senate, convene a special meeting of the Senate.
