Section 2(f) in Andhra Pradesh Elementary Teacher Training Institutions/District Institutes of Education and Training (Regulation of Admissions into Diploma in Education course through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2007
(f)"Convener CET and Admissions" means the Authority / Officer nominated by the Competent Authority not below the rank of a Joint Director of the Department of School Education for the Conduct of DIET CET and to make allotment of candidates for admission into Diploma in Education course in all the Elementary Teacher Training Institutions/District Institutes of Education and Training in the State including Private un-aided Institutions.
