Section 7(i) in Tamil Nadu Kidneys (Authority for use for Therapeutic Purposes) Act, 1987
(i)by any person other than a registered medical practitioner who had satisfied himself, before sudi removal by a personal examination of the body from which kidneys are to be removed, that life is extinct in such body; and
