..Respondents This case came up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. The Appellant is present. The learned counsel for the appellants Mr.S.Udayakumar is present. The learned counsel for the second respondent Mr.M.B.Raghavan is present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/5 2 arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The parties and the learned counsels for both sides are present. The appellants represented that the claimant died. The death certificate and the legal heir certificate has been filed. The same shall form part of this order.
2. The other side has no objection for entering the legal heirs of the deceased claimant.
3. The learned Tribunal has awarded a sum of Rs.1,78,800/-, with interest at the rate of 7.5%. The said amount has already been deposited and the same was withdrawn by the deceased. Not satisfied with the same, the deceased claimant has come up with this appeal.

Pending appeal, he died.

4. Both sides agreed for the additional sum of Rs.1,50,000/- in full quit towards additional compensation.

5. The second respondent undertakes to deposit the amount within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such deposit, the claimants/appellants are directed to withdraw Rs.50,000/-each.

6. Accordingly, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of.
