1. Case is being taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing due to Covid-19 pandemic.

2. Prayer in the petition under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 is for initiating action against the respondent for intentionally and willfully disobeying order dated 11.02.2021 in CWP No.3132 of 2021 in case titled as 'Parveen Kumar versus State of Punjab and others'.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that vide order (Annexure P-1) dated 11.02.2021, CWP No.3132 of 2021 was disposed of by directing the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Abohar to look into the legal notice (Anneuxre P-2) dated 21.12.2020 and decide the same by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, within three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order and if the petitioner was found entitled to benefits, to release the same to him within next one month.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that pursuant to the aforementioned order, respondent has now released the entire payment due to the petitioner as per his entitlement, therefore, the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the instant petition and the same may be disposed of, as such.

5. Notice has yet not been issued in the instant case.

6. Accordingly, in view of the position noted above, as well as statement of learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of as not calling for any action against the respondent under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
