Whenever after a confession has been recorded a Magistrate is specially deputed to verify the confession locally with the aid of the accused, the accused shall remain in the charge of such Magistrate. The Magistrate shall make suitable arrangements for guarding the accused by peons, and the police shall not be allowed to take any part in guarding him.
