53. Term of office of members of village panchayats, and of Sarpanch etc. thereof.
- Save as otherwise provided in this Act, the term of office of-(a)the member of a village panchayat, and(b)the Sarpanch and Upa-Sarpanch of a village panchayat.shall be co-extensive with the duration of the panchayat.
