Section 10(b) in Jammu and Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014
(b)order for registration of First Information Report for crimes committed under sections 24 to 29 of the Act or any order offence under any other law, committed by anyone in respect of a juvenile in conflict with law on a complaint made in this regard or suo motu and in respect of a child in need and care of protection on being intimated by the committee in writing;
