Section 12(2) in The Bombay Weights and Measures Act, 1932
(2)Any dealing or contract had or made in contravention of the provisions of sub-section (1) so far as it contravenes the said provisions shall be void unless it is proved that such dealing or contract was had or made without intention to contravene the said provisions.Explanation. - Unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context dealing or contract is hereinafter called "trade".
