5. [ Salaries and allowances of Parliamentary Secretaries. [Substituted with marginal heading by Act No.XX of 1955.]
- There shall be paid to each of the Parliamentary Secretaries, if any, a salary of [one thousand rupees] per mensem and a consolidated house rent and conveyance allowance of [one thousand rupees] [Substituted by Act No.11 of 1981.] per mensem.][The income tax payable by the Parliamentary Secretaries, if any, in so far as it relates to the salary and allowances mentioned in this section shall be borne by the State Government.] [Added by Act No.19 of 1975.]
