1. The petitioners, who are Constable (Driver) in the CRPF, have approached this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the respondents to include the service rendered by them as Constable (GD) while calculating their past service for the purposes of promotion to the post of Head Constable (Driver).
2. By placing reliance on "Annexure R-1", learned counsel for the respondents submits that as per para 6.4 of the Recruitment Rules, the petitioners cannot be granted benefits of service which they had rendered as Constable (GD) before they were remustered to Constable (Driver).
3. In response, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that the document on which reliance is being placed by the respondents are not the Recruitment Rules as the Recruitment Rules have already been filed along with the petition as "Annexure P-2".
4. Having perused the record, we direct the respondents to produce a copy of the complete document from which "Annexure R-1" has been This is a digitally signed order.
