Section 10(1)(c) in The Haryana Home Guards and Defence Services (State Service Class II) Rules, 1975

(c)any period of officiating appointment against a temporary or permanent post shall be reckon as period spent on probation, but no person who has so officiated shall, on the completion of the prescribed period of probation, be entitled to be confirmed unless he is appointed against a permanent vacancy.
