Section 36 in The Merchant Shipping (Examination of Engine Drivers of Sea-Going Ships) Rules, 1973
36. Nature of Examination.
- The candidates shall have the option of selecting one of the following two systems of examination namely :-(i)Viva Voce examination in Engineering Knowledge for motor or steam or combined steam and motor;Or(ii)one written paper of three hours duration in General Engineering Science.
