Section 5(i) in The Bihar Development of Ayurvedic and Unani System of Medicine Act, 1951
(i)On receipt of a notice under rule 3, the Bihar Legislative Assembly shall elect three members from amongst its members by means of single transferable votes, and the Bihar Legislative Council and the Syndicate of the Patna University shall each elect one member of the Council under such conditions as may be laid down by the Chairman of the Bihar Legislative Council and the Vice-Chancellor of the Patna University as the case may be.
