- All unsanitary type of latrine, shall be altered or repaired suitably to fit with the standard of sanitary type latrine adopting any system such as RCA, Sofa Sandas, Bore-well or dug well latrine as advised by the Health Officer according to suitability of place and financial position of the owner.(a)The Health Officer shall notify the owner or occupier of the premises to alter or repair such unsanitary type of latrine within a specific period of time.(b)If the owner or occupier neglects the notice of the Health Officer issued under clause (a), the Health Officer shall refer the matter to the Local Authority who shall construct the same and recover the cost from such person as if it were a tax due to the Local Authority.
