Section 3(1) in The Jharkhand State Agricultural University Act, 2000
(1)The following Universities shall be established with effect from the date of enforcement of this Act:-(i)[xxx] [Deleted by Notification No. 2000/86 dated 19.12.2000.](ii)The Birsa Agricultural University with its Headquarters at Ranchi having its jurisdiction over the areas comprising of the divisions of North and South Chotanagpur and Santhal Parganas.
