4. Declaration of intention to regulate and to control sale and purchase of agricultural produces in any area.
- Where the State Government is of opinion that it is necessary or expedient in public interest to regulate the sale and purchase of agricultural produces in any area and for that purpose to declare that area as a market area, it may, by notification in official gazette and in such other manner, which may be prescribed, declare such area as a Market Area under this Act, with effect from such date, as may be notified.
