(2)Sleeping arrangement in barracks.- In each barrack, sleeping berths shall be provided in accordance with the instructions issued by the Inspector General from time to time. The number of such berths shall not be greater than the sanctioned capacity of the barrack.Note. - Utilization of work-sheds as sleeping wards when prison is overcrowded - In the event of a prison being overcrowded, the Superintendent shall either utilise work-sheds as sleeping wards or accommodate the excess number of prisoners in huts or tents and report the circumstances to the Inspector General.
