Section 1 in The National Highways fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008
1. Short title and commencement.
(1)These rules may be called the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008.(2)They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.(3)They shall not apply to agreements and contracts executed and bids invited prior to the publication of these rules.(4)[ They shall apply to the agreement and contracts executed and bids invited relating to Public funded projects and the build, operate and transfer (annuity) projects prior to the publication of the said rules.] [Inserted by Notification No. G.S.R. 756(E), dated 12.10.2011 (w.e.f. 5.12.2008).]
