Section 322 in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
322. Collection, removal and disposal of solid wastes. -
For the purpose of securing the efficient scavenging and cleansing of all streets, public places and premises in Calcutta, the Corporation shall undertake the functions of collection, removal and disposal of solid wastes.
