Section 4(1) in The Jammu and Kashmir Gift Goods (Unlawful Possession) Act, 1963

(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, Samvat 1989, any offence under this Act shall be deemed to be cognizable offence within the meaning of that Code.
