Section 55(1) in Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University Act, 2008
(1)Subject to the provisions of subsections (2) to (5) the University Acts specified in the Schedule (hereafter in this section referred to as the University Acts) shall, with effect on and from the notified date, cease to apply in respect of the colleges imparting courses of study in teachers education.
