Section 67(5) in The West Bengal Factories Rules, 1958
(5)The height of every room in the building shall not be less than [360 cm] [Substituted by the West Bengal Factories (Amendment) Rules, 1991] from the floor level to the lowest part of the roof. The floor and inside walls up to a height of [120cm] [Substituted by the West Bengal Factories (Amendment) Rules, 1991] from the floor shall be made of smooth and impervious material:Provided that in the case of factories existing on the date of commencement of these rules the Chief Inspector may by order in writing relax the provisions of this sub-rule, regarding height.
