Section 171(1) in Karnataka Panchayat Raj Act, 1993
(1)The provisions of sections 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 shall apply mutatis mutandis in respect of election to Zilla Panchayat, the application being to the [Civil Judge (Senior Division)] [Substituted by Act 29 of 1997 w.e.f. 20.10.1997.] having jurisdiction and the deposit as security for costs being two thousand rupees.
