Section 2(73) in The Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(73)"water connection" includes -(a)any tank, cistern, hydrant, stand-pipe, meter or tax situated on a private property and connected with water-main or pipe belonging to the Corporation, and(b)the water-pipe connecting such tank, cistern, hydrant, stand-pipe, meter or tap with such water-main or pipe;
