Section 8(6) in National Highways (Fees for the use of National Highway Section and Permanent Bridge-Public Funded Projects) Rules, 1997
(6)The Sectional Officer/Junior Engineer-in-charge shall,on every Saturday or if it happens to be a holiday, on the next working day,remit the amount received by him in respect of the week preceding the Saturdayby a demand draft to the Pay and Accounts Officer. The Pay and Accounts Officershall account the amount so received in the relevant receipt head in his books.
