Section 27A(12) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Hill Stations) Building Rules, 1993
(12)The committee shall examine the applications for construction of buildings in the hill stations in the district and submit its recommendations to the Collector within sixty days from the date of receipt of the application from the executive authority either approving the building or refusing it and suggest modification to the proposals.
