Section 10(2) in The Personal Injuries (Compensation Insurance) Scheme, 1972
(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clause (1), the amount of compensation payable to a Government servant under this Scheme shall in accordance with section 6 of the Act be equal to the amount of compensation that would have been payable under sub-clause (1) plus the appropriate lump sum value of the payments under the Personal Injuries (Emergency Provisions) Act, 1962 (59 of 1962), specified in clause 9 reduced by the lump sum value of the extraordinary pension, gratuity, compassionate payment or damages repayable to him under the rules regulating the conditions of his service.
