Section 2(c) in Bangalore Metropolitan Region Development Authority Act, 1985
(c)"Bangalore Metropolitan Region" means the area comprising the Bangalore District and [Bangalore Rural District] [Substituted by Act 8 of 2005 w.e.f. 23.03.2005.] and such other areas as the State Government may, from time to time, by notification, specify;
