16. Construction and maintenance of drains.
- All drains work on an industrial premises for carrying waste or sullage water shall be constructed in masonry or other permeable materials and shall be regularly flushed and effluent disposed of by connecting with drains with suitable drainage lines :Provided that where there is no such drainage line, the effluent shall be deodorised in order to render it innocuous and then disposed of.
