Section 2(1)(vi) in Andhra Pradesh Private Minority (Aided/Unaided) Colleges of Education (Regulation of Admissions into B.Ed. Course through Common Entrance Test), Rules, 2005

(vi)"Convenor" means the authority/ officer nominated by the competent authority, not below the rank of a Professor/Regional Joint Director (RJD), School Education department, for the conduct of Ed.CET and also to make allotment of candidates for admission into B.Ed Course in all the Colleges of Education in the State.
