Section 18 in West Bengal Green University Act, 2017
18. The Law Officer.
(1)There shall be a Law Officer in the University, to be appointed by the State Government, on deputation from amongst the member of the West Bengal Legal Service.(2)The Law Officer shall assist the University in all legal issues and shall represent the University in all legal proceedings before the Court of Law.(3)The Law Officer shall have such powers and functions as may be provided by the Statues.
