Section 34(viii) in Assam Education Department Rules and Orders
(viii)by any other authority constituted by law for the purpose of imparting or/and managing education of any standard whether exclusively or as a part of its other functions ; Provided that the local and Municipal Boards shall not have the power to recognise any institution.
