(2)Where any person sends or gives information to the District Superintendent of police of the facts, which prima facie constitute a cognizable offence, and alleges that the officer in-charge of the Police Station having jurisdiction has refused to record the information, the District Superintendent of Police shall immediately proceed to take or cause to be taken disciplinary action as per rules against the officer in-charge of the Police Station.
