Section 22(3) in The U.P. Board of Revenue Subordinate Audit Service Rules, 1978
(3)The appointing authority may, for reasons to be recorded, extend the period of probation in individual cases, specifying the date up to which the extension is granted:Provided that save for exceptional reasons the period of probation shall not be extended for more than one year and in not circumstances, beyond the limit of two years.
