1.Petitioner is in custody for three and half years. He submits the principal accused is dead. He is a mere carrier and was not aware of the contents of the bag.
2. Learned Advocate for the NCB submits petitioner is a member of a racket involved in transborder smuggling of narcotics. Trial is in progress. Two witnesses have been examined. He submits report in support of his submission.
3. NCB is directed to submit further report with regard to timeline within which they propose to conclude the trial.
