State of West Bengal - Subsection

Section 24(3)(a) in The North Bengal University Act, 1981

(a)The Council for undergraduate studies in Engineering and Technology shall consist of the following members:-
(i)the Vice-Chancellor-Chairman;
(ii)the Principal, Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College;
(iii)the Heads of the Department of Teaching, Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College;
(iv)three Teachers not belonging to the same Department elected jointly by the Teachers of colleges imparting instruction in Engineering or Technology affiliated to the University;
(v)one person nominated by the Director of Technical Education, West Bengal;
(vi)two persons having knowledge in the subject concerned nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
