Section 24 in The Government of Union Territories Act, 1963
24. Procedure in as to lapsing of Bills.
(1)A Bill pending in the Legislative Assembly of a Union territory shall not lapse by reason of the prorrogation of the Assembly.(2)A Bill which is pending in the Legislative Assembly of a Union territory shall lapse on a dissolution of the Assembly.
