(1)For the purposes of this Chapter, the Central Government shall, by an order published in the Official Gazette, appoint any officer of the Central Government not below the rank of Joint Secretary as one or more Adjudicating Officers for holding an inquiry in such manner as may be prescribed.(2)The Adjudicating Officer may, upon the holding of such inquiry, pass such order as he deems fit in accordance with the provisions of section 32 or section 33.
