Section 31(4) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(4)The Director of Research shall hold office for a period of four years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further period of four years :Provided that no person shall hold office of the Director of Research for more than eight years in aggregate :Provided further that the Director of Research shall retire from the post if, during the term of his office including the term of re-appointment, he attains the age of sixty years.
