Section 3(1) in The West Bengal University of Technology Act, 2000
(1)With effect from such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint, there shall be constituted a University by the name of the [Maulama Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal] [Substituted 'West Bengal University of Technology' by Act No. 4 of 2015, dated 6.4.2015.] which shall consist of the Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, the Directors, the members of the General Council, the members of the Executive Council, and the members of the Academic Council and the Registrar.
