Section 2(1)(xxxiii) in The Tamil Nadu Town Panchayats, Third Grade Municipalities, Municipalities and Corporations (Elections) Rules, 2006

(xxxiii)Ward means the ward of a Panchayat Town or of a Transitional Area of of a Municipality or of a Corporation and includes the Division of a Corporation as divided and notified under the Act for the purpose of election of Councillor;
