Section 17C(1) in The Punjab Sugarcane (Regulation of Purchase and Supply) Act, 1953
(1)In addition to the tax payable under Section 17, there shall be paid by or on behalf of a sugar factory a surcharge at the rate of two percentum on the amount of such tax.
