Section 14(1) in Atomic Minerals Concession Rules, 2016
(1)The lessee may make an application for surrendering the entire area of the mining lease after giving a notice in writing of not less than twelve calendar months from the intended date of surrender and such application shall be accompanied by an approved final mine closure plan:Provided that the lessee may make an application for surrendering a part of the area under mining lease only in case the lessee is unable to comply with any of the conditions of the mining lease.
