12. Age limit.
- Lower and upper age limits for appointment by direct recruitment to any of the posts in the services shall be the same as prescribed by the State Government for similar posts.In case of departmental candidates, however, the maximum age bar shall be relaxed by the number of years he had been in actual service as an employee of the State Government.However, in a suitable case the High Court shall have the power to relax the upper age limit.
