Section 21(3) in Allotment of Government Residences (General Pool in Delhi) Rules, 1963
(3)Any officer who shares or sublets his residence shall do so at his own risk and responsibility and shall remain personally responsible for any licence fee payable in respect of the residence and for any damages caused to the residence or its precincts or grounds or services provided therein by Government beyond fair wear and tear.
