                      Magistrate, Paramakudi, to commit P.R.C.No.62 of 2019
                      pending on the file to the trial Court and consequently, direct
                      the trial Court to which the case will be committed to speedup
                      the trial and complete the same within a time frame that may
                      be stipulated by this Court.

                                                   ORDER

The petitioner is a victim of Acid attack. Crime No. 481 of 2012 registered on the file of the second respondent culminated in final report and is pending at the committal stage for several months.

2. The occurrence had taken place way back in the year 2012. Delay in such cases cannot be lightly viewed.

3. Therefore, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi, is directed to conclude the committal proceedings without any delay and commit the case to the Sessions Court. The learned Sessions Judge will ensure that the trial in this case will be concluded within a period of three months, thereafter. The compliance report to be submitted to the Registry.

4. With these directions, the criminal original petition stands allowed.
