Section 258(5) in Criminal Courts - Rules and Orders
(5)Moulds, dies and other implements used as exhibits in a note forgery case should be disposed of by the Courts which tries the case. Ordinarily they should be delivered to the police for destruction. It is for the police and not for the Courts to make over to the local Criminal Investigation Department any particular exhibits which are considered to be of special interest and fit for preservation.
